cooperating fully look like?" Lubnau told the Star Tribune. "Does it look like throwing a pile of irrelevant documents on the table and saying, 'Good luck, go find it?'"
Lubnau said the committee has made arrangements with Gov. Matt Mead's office to ensure the help of state Enterprise Technology Services is available to the superintendent's office to refine its response. In his letter to Hill, Lubnau asks her to reproduce the requested documents in a usable format.
In a letter to Hill, Rep. Tom Lubnau, R Gillette, called Hill's subpoena response an attempt to conceal relevant documents.

The language of the subpoena from the committee was broad, Hill said, so in an effort to comply completely with the committee's request she submitted every electronic file in her office, including emails. Hill said she didn't want any questions to remain about whether her office was cooperating.
In a letter hand delivered to the superintendent's office Friday, Lubnau wrote the response is "at a minimum, feeble, or, at its worst, a transparent attempt to hide relevant documents in a myriad potpourri of irrelevant jetsam." The relevant documents, Lubnau said, would be hidden under hundreds of thousands of irrelevant files.
Hill said it was her way of being transparent. "I have made absolutely everything that we can available to them," she said. "Now they can extract whatever they want."
The two subpoenas were served Sept. 5 and Sept. 18 by an investigative committee assembled by Lubnau after a recent inquiry into the Wyoming Department of Education reported issues with how Hill managed the agency since her election in 2010. Hill was stripped of many of her duties as superintendent by a new law passed last winter, which essentially replaced her oversight of the agency with a governor appointed director.
You called someone an idiot, a racist, a dope, a moron, etc. Please, no name calling or profanity (or veiled profanity $%^ rambled, failed to stay on topic or exhibited troll like behavior intended to hijack the discussion at hand.
"We said, 'Here,'" Hill said. "'You have every resource you need, and we don't want to hide anything.'"
Hill said in an effort to be transparent, her staff responded to the committee's subpoenas by emptying their electronic files onto a hard drive and handing it to the Wyoming Legislative Service Office.
If our legistlatures would have been smart they would have let this whole thing die down, or impeached Hill when they had the chance. Now Hill seems to be playing a clever shell game, and the game goes on and on well into overtime. Our delegation should have expected this from Hill! And you can bet there is more to come from her. Mr. Labnau, you got what you asked for. Hill is beating you at your own game. You had the chance to end it in regulation. What happened? Just let her end her term and leave. So there's all these document dumps being requested (or subpoenaed) and made, and WY traditionally has skeleton staffing when it comes to most state agencies compared to larger Nike Cortez Nubuck states and neither the Hill bashers in the Legislature nor Hill's boosters and advisors thought this might be a problem?!I mean geez, don't ask for stuff you aren't willing to sift through yourself and figure out. Unlike other states, there aren't $40/hour analysts paralegals available on the state payroll to do the dirty work.
The result was 118 gigabytes of unsorted, unreferenced, unindexed information, Lubnau said.
Included on the hard drive were 165,000 files split into two folders, according to Lubnau's letter to Hill. Irrelevant files like a 45 minute audio recording of a motivational speaker, interviews with a former state superintendent of public instruction, and some 3,000 photos masked what relevant documents may be included, he wrote.
What the committee asked for in its subpoenas is there, Hill said. But Lubnau said the investigative committee has no way of knowing.
YOU SHOUTED YOUR COMMENT IN ALL CAPS. This is hard to read and annoys readers.
"This is an attempt to hide the needle in the haystack," Lubnau told the Star Tribune on Friday. "It's a bad faith response flaunting the legislative investigation."
Lubnau would've thrown a hissy fit no matter what Hill turned over and everyone knows that. If she turned over 50 gig and they couldn't find the ever Mens Nike Cortez Sneakers
The documents 165,000 of them provided to lawmakers last week by state Superintendent of Public Instruction Cindy Hill hindered, not helped, the work of a legislative committee investigating her tenure at the Wyoming Department of Education, the state speaker of the House said Friday.
invasive needle in the haystack, he/they would've sent out a scathing press release that she's trying to hide something and then would've subpoenaed her for more. They are, afterall, into phase 4 (or phase 5?) of a 'deeper investigation'.
Lubnau and his cronies went fishing and they got what they asked for. Their subpoena was reviewed and put together by their attorney and now he wants to blame Hill for meeting his request??? He and the good old boys want everyone to think they are so smart but they are idiots. Now it will cost the voters thousands of dollars to sort through this information looking for a smoking gun. Hill will be voted out long before they get through the information and hopefully Lubnau, Coe and Teeters will join her in the unemployment line.
was not approved, perhaps.
